is pleased to announce that Mr. Akinori Tsuruya, former Police Bureau Chief, has been appointed as Special Advisor effective January 5, 2026.
Mr. Tsuruya will primarily provide support regarding the prevention of transactions with antisocial forces, strengthening of corporate governance, and thorough compliance. In light of recent cases where multiple articles containing inaccurate information about the Company’s business dealings have been posted on the internet, we will receive advice based on his extensive experience and insight to ensure that all stakeholders can continue doing business with our company with confidence, and to realize further contribution to society through the creation and innovation of real estate value.

Major Career History of Mr. Akinori Tsuruya
- After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo, served at the National Police Agency, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Secretariat, and other organizations.
- Served as Chief of the Fourth Investigation Division of the Metropolitan Police Department in 1997, Director of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of Hyogo Prefectural Police in 2001, Chief of Wakayama Prefectural Police Headquarters in 2007, Deputy Chief of Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters in 2012, and Chief of the Kinki Regional Police Bureau in 2016.
- Primarily involved in international terrorism countermeasures, measures against white-collar crimes such as corruption, and measures against organized crime groups and international organized crime. Has been deeply involved with the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members since its enactment in 1991.
- At the Ministry of Finance: National Tax Inspector, Income Tax Division, National Tax Agency; Director of Izumo Tax Office; Director-General of Shikoku Finance Bureau
- At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Thailand
